This course will teach you how to farm with potatoes successfully.

This module is made up of four specific outcomes, which are further broken out into assessment criteria. The four specific outcomes are:
SPECIFIC OUTCOME 1
Introduction to potato production and the different varieties.
SPECIFIC OUTCOME 2
The learner will be able to understand the importance of land preparation, planting techniques, time of planting, seeding rates and understand and implement irrigation of a potato crop.
SPECIFIC OUTCOME 3
The learner will be able to understand the fertilidation requirements for a potato crop and identify the pests and diseases and the importance of the control measures.
SPECIFIC OUTCOMES 4
Understand the importance of harvesting methods and processes such as the grading process of potato.
